After her Master's degree in Dentistry, Charlotte followed a 4-year additional university training as a specialist in Orthodontics at the University of Ghent. The first 5 years after her training, she also remained linked to the university and was responsible for clinical supervision as well as for organizing the COS conference.
Charlotte Van Elst is also a member of various organizations such as the WFO, EOS, EAS, BBNO etc. in order to stay up to date with the latest evolutions.
In 2014, Charlotte began specializing in Invisalign treatments and is now a Diamond Apex Invisalign provider and has successfully treated over 2000 patients.

He is head of the PEBS clinic, Specialist in dentofacial orthopedics with 15 years of experience. He has treated over 6,000 patients, performed more than 3,200 Invisalign cases, and was awarded Diamond Apex 2023-2024 and 2025.
He has graced stages across numerous countries around the world, captivating audiences with his expertise in orthodontics and communication.
Not only does he have two of the top orthodontic practices in Brussels, he also educates on orthodontic techniques and delves into communication strategies, enriching the academic landscape as the head of the orthodontics course at Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles-Ilya Prigogine.
As two clinicians with extensive experience in aligner therapy — both in daily practice and as national and international speakers — we’ve had the privilege of training orthodontists across Europe. Over the years, we noticed a gap: in Belgium, there was no structured, in-depth aligner training tailored specifically for general dentists.
We kept hearing the same questions: “Where can I learn how to start with aligners safely?”, “How do I know which cases are suitable?”, “Who can guide me beyond just the basics?”. This program was born from that need. It’s designed to offer a clear, clinical, and comprehensive path — from foundational knowledge to advanced decision-making — in a way that is practical, interactive, and relevant to your everyday practice.
Includes:
4 weekend sessions (Fri–Sat–Sun)
Access to international experts.
Printed & digital course materials
Certifications: Invisalign Comprehensive Certification
Starter Kit (~€3,000) available through partner lab (not included)

This program is tailored for general dentists who want to build a solid foundation in aligner therapy, including digital diagnosis, biomechanics, and advanced treatment planning.
No previous orthodontic training is needed. The program starts from fundamental principles and gradually moves into complex cases including interceptive treatment and teenage patients.
Upon successful completion of the full program and final evaluation, you will receive the Invisalign Comprehensive Certification.
While the course focuses on the Invisalign system due to the instructors' clinical experience, the biomechanical principles taught are applicable to other systems as well.
The full program spans 1 year and includes 4 intensive weekends of 3 full days each. Each weekend covers both clinical and digital topics in structured 1.5-hour blocks.
